Snecma's MRO network boasts one of the world's largest numbers of civil aviation accreditations: a total of 27 (EASA, FAA, CAAC, etc. ), plus 24 differents certifications. To ensure continuous improvement in customer satisfaction, our MRO facilities are audited by customers over 250 times a year.

A global MRO network

MRO shops

  • Snecma Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (France): maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the CFM56-5A, -5B, 5C and -7B, and SaM146 engines, along with GE90 and GP7000 modules. This shop holds the largest number of accreditations.
  • Snecma America Engine Services (Mexico): maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the CFM56-5A, -5B and -7B engines. This is the most advanced shop in the network in terms of innovative industrial solutions, based on its repair pulse line, automated warehouse and RFID chips for radio-frequency identification of parts.
  • Snecma Services Brussels (Belgium): maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the CFM56-2, -3 and -7B engines.
  • Snecma Morocco Engine Services (Morocco): maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the CFM56-3, -5B and -7B engines.
  • SSAMC (Sichuan Services Aero Engine Maintenance Company), a subsidiary of Air China (60%) and CFM (40%): maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the CFM56-5B and -7B engines.

 

Centers of excellence in parts repair

  • Snecma Châtellerault (France): value-added repairs of high-pressure turbine blades, nozzles, rings and mounts, low-pressure guide vanes, shafts and rotating parts (all CFM56 models).
  • Snecma Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (France): fan blades and disks (all CFM56 models).
  • Snecma Services Brussels (Belgium): combustors (all CFM56 models)
  • SAMES Repair (Mexico): high-pressure turbine rings and their mounts (all CFM56 models)
  • Ceramic Coating Center*, Châtellerault (France): ceramic coatings (thermal barriers) on HP turbine blades and guide vanes.
  • Propulsion Technologies International** (PTI), Miramar (United States): fan blades and disks, low-pressure compressors, cases, shafts and rotating parts.
