MAKS airshow: Vladimir Putin stops by the SaM146 engine

Olivier Andriès, CEO of Safran Aircraft Engines, welcomed the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, at the inauguration of MAKS airshow which takes place in Zhukovsky, near Moscow (18-23 July).

Olivier Andriès was able to present to Vladimir Putin all the products exhibited, as well as the strong industrial footprint that Safran and PowerJet have established in Russia for more than decades. 
He started with the SaM146 engine, headlining the booth. And he presented then some SaM146 parts produced within Volagaero, the 50/50 joint venture of Safran Aircraft Engines and UEC Saturn located in Rybinsk.
