Professional, Engineer & Manager
CFM international is a joint venture between General Electric in the U.S. and Safran Aircraft Engines with headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. It produces engines for various model aircraft, including the Airbus A320, Boeing 737 and COMAC C919 aircraft families. More than one out of two turbofan engines produced for commercial aircraft with 100 passengers or more is a CFM56
Manage purchase order process with aircraft manufacturer (COMAC) for the supply of installed aircraft engines (C919).
o Manage, track and implement development purchase order processing and engine and parts delivery, as well as all financial transactions with the aircraft manufacturer
o Participate in the development of administrative processes for the production phase with aircraft manufacturer
Implement the airline customer contracts and act as the focal point for sales / finance departments:
o Facilitate the relationship between all the stakeholders and the customer
o Coordinate production and quality issues that arise
o Manage and administer the terms and conditions of the airline customer contract
o Calculate and coordinate the payment of allowances with airline customers
o Process purchase orders for spare engines and thrust upgrades
o Manage distribution of payment to shareholders
o Track all financial transactions.
Support company business initiatives and issues
o Serve as Contracts focal point for company-wide programs, and participate in cross functional teams
o Support development of operating practices for company-wide distribution
Provide data for periodic reviews and various management reports
o Establish and update information for management reports
Maintain databases and information systems
Contract management, including review, tracking, interpretation and other related projects.
If requested, support sales and legal teams as required during proposal and contract negotiations with airline customers
o Review contract language, both in form and substance
o Develop internal positions in response to airlines requests
Act as a liaison with Safran organization in France.
- - Bachelor degree in business related field, MBA a plus
- - 5-10 years relevant work experience, preferably in an aerospace-related field
- - Experience with management of commercial contracts
- - Experience in customer relationship management
- - Must have strong analytical skills, ability to work in an international and global environment, and possess excellent customer interaction skills
- - Must be proactive and able to work under deadlines and to multi-task to complete all transactional items in line with expectations.
- - Must be a team player, and able to work close contact with other team members.
- - Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- - Must be able to travel occasionally
- - French or Chinese language skills a plus
