Safran Aircraft Engines is setting up a Web portal within the scope of its engine design and development operations as an "extended enterprise" to facilitate work between Safran Aircraft Engine and other companies.

The e-VirtualPlatform portal comprises an array of collaborative working spaces created for each Safran Aircraft Engine/External Company pair in a given area. 

Each of these collaborative working spaces will make it possible to:

• work together to draw up an administrative document;
• have several people communicate on 3D geometric data converted into a light format called "JT", during a design review or other meeting;
• store all administrative or technical documents used during the different exchanges.

Like any other Safran Aircraft Engines online portals, external companies must first be listed in the User Management application. A designated administrator from the company must submit a request to the project team to be accepted in this listing.
