Machining and assembly of civil and military engine’s parts and subassemblies

Built in 1966, the Evry-Corbeil plant spans 72 hectares (178 acres) about 30 kilometers south of Paris. Safran Aircraft Engines' largest production site, it machines and assembles parts and subassemblies for the company's commercial and military engines.

The site also houses other company entities, especially the Military Engine division, which is in charge of program management, engine sales and support, as well as plant management and the quality, production, information systems, training, purchasing and accounting departments.

Evry-Corbeil has 2,800 employees, including line and office workers, technicians, managers and supervisors.

It spans some 88,000 square meters (over 950,000 sq ft) of workshops, with more than 800 machine tools, including almost 400 NC (numerical control) models. A wide array of advanced technologies are used, including inertial friction welding, electrochemical milling, laser cutting, drilling and welding, robotic welding and trimming, shot peening, plasma projection and high-speed machining.

Evry-Corbeil is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
